Happy to announce that my story, “The Astounding Life of Penny Wu,” is forthcoming in Factor Four Magazine!
This will be my second time having a story published in Factor Four and I’m quite excited. The story includes some experimental narration. 🙂
(My first story published in Factor Four Magazine, “Okuritsuridashi,” is free to read on the Factor Four Magazine website.)
—with thanks to editor Richard Flores IV and the editorial team!
Happy to announce that my poem, “Knock-out Opalescent Victory,” is forthcoming in Argot!
This one includes boxing, miko (shrine maidens in Japan) and draws from my experiences living in Japan.
Happy to announce that my story, “Swings and Suspension” will be published in the “Gorgon: Stories of Emergence” issue of Pantheon Magazine!
The issue will feature stories about transformations. This description is from their call:
“…themes based around transformations—things that are shapeshifting, things that are emerging. Make Ovid’s Metamorphoses contemporary and weird and scary. We want a wide scope of voices and cultures and perspectives.”
Looking forward to the issue!

I’m happy to announce that two of my stories, “Little Empire of Lakelore” and “Fresh Dates,” are forthcoming in Diabolical Plots!
This will be my first time publishing with them and I’m thrilled my stories will be published alongside wonderful works!
Diabolical Plots also runs the (Submissions) Grinder, a great tool for keeping track of writing submissions, so major kudos!
